Traditional Christmas Play Kitchen

Posted by Jennifer Brown on

I have been so inspired by many this year to create some unique invitation to play spaces within our home.  We built a beautiful addition onto our home two years ago and it has been the perfect space for our children to explore, create, and just be kids.  My middle son, Damon received the Artisan Island Toddler Play Kitchen (This was a Target Exclusive and is no longer sold) last year and it is absolutely precious.  Adding a couple festive touches was so much fun for me!  I hope you enjoy viewing and maybe you will be inspired to decorate some unique spaces in your own home for you little ones this year.
I am obsessed with vintage kitchy christmas decor.  Give me all the blow molds and vintage Santa mugs please!  The ornaments in the sink are also vintage shiny brights.  I have picked up all these items at thrifts & antique stores over the years.  The top vintage Santa mug was gifted to me as a child and is very special.
Bottle brush trees make everything more festive and they are a great space filler!  I absolutely love the Etsy shop WoodenThatBeSomethin and her adorable prints.  I purchased the one framed and placed it in a $1 Dollar tree frame. So simple and inexpensive!  I also couldn't not purchase the Melissa & Doug Christmas Cookie Set for my kids this year.  It has been a huge hit!  It comes with all the cookies, tray, oven mitt, and utensils.  Highly recommend!
Finally, I had to feature some Happy Haven Little's creations.  These gingerbread dolls turned out so precious!  Perfect for all the sensory and invitation to play activities you have planned for your little's this Christmas season.
